People are always talking about the kids of divorce, but what about the kids of parents who hate each other?  That’s what I am.  I was born in in Allentown, Pennsylvania - a town where fashions are ten years behind, side-ponytails adorn many-a-head, and the economy is so shitty Billy Joel felt compelled to write a song about it.  My parents, Stan and Karen Maciejczyk met when they were eighteen years old, working at a summer resort in the Poconos.  Their romance was very “Dirty Dancing” sans the casual racism, provocative dancing and back-room abortions.
